Blizzard wants the human race to be enslaved by the World of Warcraft, and the best way to do it is to make it's unkillable MMORPG FREE!! Ok, so maybe it's not entirely free, but you can enjoy the game as much as you want. Blizzard has long allowed new players to enjoy WoW for up to 14 days, but Blizzard has just introduced a new free to play system called the World of Warcraft Starter Edition. Blizzard is even going allow new players to play as Blood Elves and Draenei characters. The only Major catch to this free-to-play promotion is a level cap at level 20. When you reach level 20 that's it, you can no longer make progress in leveling your Hero unless you purchase a copy of World of Warcraft.
Here are a few restrictions to WoW's Starter Edition
• Level Cap at 20
• Trade Skills Capped at 100
• Can not use the Auction House
• Can not makes trades with other players
• Public, Party, and Guild chat with characters higher then level 20 will be blocked
• Voice communication, characters and Real ID will also be unavailable.
This new free-to-play promo of Slavecraft is sure to lure in many more new players, into the world of never ending grinding and chasing the purple dragon. Fortunately Blizzard has another money scheme lined up to suck new players into subscribing, and playing WoW until they lose their jobs, girlfriends, family. Here is what Blizzard is also offering, commence with childhood obesity.
"...players will be able to get both the original World of Warcraft and the game's first expansion set, The Burning Crusade, for only $19.99 as part of the new digital Battle Chest now available in the online Blizzard Store. In addition, anyone who owns the original World of Warcraft, regardless of when they purchased the game, will automatically be able to access all of the content and features from The Burning Crusade expansion at no additional cost."
