Halofest!!!!

Halo is celebrating their 10th year of exsistence and we are super pumped up to see a NO BLOOM gametype on the Halo Reach engine. This is huge forthe MLG crowd. Eliminating bloom creates less of a random atmosphere in the world of Halo and that is honestly the way it should be. Also at Halofestgamers are able to compete in tournaments all weekend long for some sweet swag and prizes.

Madcatz MLG Controllers

We got to catch up with our friend Alex Verrey who was excited to show us the new controllers. Madcatz had a bad reputation in the competitive gaming community because of the turbo and the "budget" style controllers and these MLG controllers have changed that reputation 100%.

The controllers allow gamers to fully customize the console expirence with there new pro module system which includes the ability to remove and redistributethe position of the analog sticks and D-pad for maximum comfort. You can also customize the weight, cable length, faceplates, and analog tops.

Firefall

At first glance Firefall looked a little complicated and I was under a misconception that it is an MMOFPS it is in fact a full blown action shooter withsome MMO elements. So after our newly found friend David Williams explained the game and how it works I am completely sold that this FREE TO PLAY game is going to be HUGE.

Eve Online / Dust 514

Eve online has been around for years and I'll be honest I have never stepped foot in the Eve universe (or a spaceship) but I was always curious about the gameand never took the time to play it. There is so much going on in Eve that if someone was going to explain every feature in the game I am sure my head wouldexplode. One thing that made me very interested in whole Eve universe was the announcement of Dust 514, a MMOFPS which takes place on the Eve planets. WAIT WHAAAT???So basically imagine your group or "corporation" can be hired for tasks by Eve players... Oh yea did I mention that this magic is happening via PC to PS3?I am super excited to see where this is headed and if they pull it off it will be the first SEAMLESS cross-platform gaming interaction.

Ghost Recon Future Soilder

Ghost Recon Future Soilder has always tried to push the limits and create new standards in the shooter genre. Unfortunately this didn't always happen as some of the other Ghost Recon games seemed a little rushed or a little buggy. What we saw today was a build from the spring and I am excited to say that this game is lookingsolid. The most exciting thing about Ghost Recon Future Soilder is FREE TO PLAY. I am glad to see more and more developers are picking up the free to play structurebecause this allows the gaming community to grow very quicky and plus you get to play the full game in exchange for your time having fun.
