Calling all cars, calling all cars, Gears of War 3 has been leaked...

Gears of War 3 isn't scheduled to ship until September 20th of this year. Though an early build of the game's single-player campaign and some multiplayer content has been leaked to the Internet, causing a flood of spoiler-filled videos to surface on YouTube. That said, if you’re anyway interested in still being surprised in the Gears of War 3 storyline, you may want to quit searching the Internet for GOW3 information right about now because you might stumble across some spoilers that will ruin your day since info about the story is sure to find its way online shortly.

The entire single-player campaign of Gears of War 3 and some of the multiplayer, has been leaked onto torrent sites. Microsoft has said the leaked copies of this game was strictly a developers copy or "JTAG" version of the game, which means you need to have a special modified Xbox 360 or a dev kit to run it. If you do not have one then you simply would be wasting your time and hard-drive space downloading it. But it’s there nonetheless. The build is not completely finalized, but is rumored to include the full single-player and much of the multiplayer content.

YouTube and other streaming sites may become a haven for spoiler-rich Gears of War 3 content. So if you are too anxious about it's release in about two and a half months, by all means start searching. On the other hand, I would suggest for you to wait because all the thrill on video games is exploration and discovering the new content.

This comment from Microsoft could just be a diversion to put everyone's mind a ease or can be completely legit. Either way Gears of War 3 will be one of the most epic games to come out in 2011.
